We enjoyed working with Dawn & Kevin on their wedding day on Saturday, July 12th here in Banff.

We had great weather and got some wonderful images outdoors but one standout image was this one we created together in the “Spanish Walkway” of the historic Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel.

My girlfriend Tonya and I were lucky enough to photograph the wedding of our friends Tom & Tobie on June 14th in St. John’s Newfoundland. It was an amazing trip and far exceeded our expectations.

Tobie’s friends and family demonstrated the legendary Newfie hospitality and made us feel welcome with tons of great food (ahhhh, luv them scrunchions!), many pints of Quidi Vidi brew, and the pleasure (!?) of a Screeching In ceremony.

Thanks to everyone in St. John’s for a great party! Here’s a few pics of the fun followed by some highlights of our road trip across the province.

After the wedding, Tonya and I had an amazing week seeing at least three corners of this spectacular Province. Everyone we met said “first time here?…you’ll be back” .

We know we will.

Heather and Jason joined us all the way from North Carolina to get married at the Banff Springs Hotel. In another case of good timing the Grizzly fishing down at Vermillion Lakes decided to move on the day before the wedding so we were able to make the most of the soft light after our spring showers and get some great shots. Thanks for letting us be a part of your special day.

Katherine and Patrick, many congratulations on your big day here in the Rockies, I hope that you and your families had half as much fun during the reception as we both had with you during the afternoon!

We had a wonderful time this past Sunday working with Rodney & Shawna of Calgary.

It was nice to see the snow finally gone! We were able to go for a walk in the woods where a week earlier we had 50 cms of the white stuff.

They were so willing to try anything that I wasn’t surprised when they agreed to climb out on the roof of the Banff Springs at sunset for some cool shots.

Saturday May 17th brought the warmest day of the year yet for Bonnie & Travis’ wedding here in Banff.

Thanks to both of you and all your family for being so great to work with!
